Big changes are underway at Chesterfield College. Already, we are a strong College with a turnover of £35 million and 10,000 students. Our relationship with our communities and employers is evolving progressively into a pattern which is sector-leading.
With the support of a very informed and enthusiastic Governing Body, we are determined to be an ‘Outstanding’ College by 2015. Our new senior appointments are important in ensuring that the College is as alert and creative as possible and able to satisfy expectations so that it has a transforming effect on social and economic change in Chesterfield and its hinterland. These two new roles will help to re-define the College, diversify its income and enhance its quality of provision.
The central thrust of Learning Unlimited is to give structure to employer focused provision, such as apprenticeships. The College’s clear aspiration is for growth in this area as it looks to diversify income streams and heighten its profile within communities and among stakeholders. The post holder will liaise internally with senior managers and externally with employers and stakeholders in order to grow provision and develop the College’s reputation. The Assistant Principal will have a significant role in the College’s business planning.
