Overview
This package of training and support is designed to ensure that your strategies result in improvements to leadership and management and are valued by staff at all levels. In particular, the package will evaluate (based on proposed new schools Ofsted framework for inspection):
• How leadership and management set an ambitious vision for the school and high expectations for what every pupil and teacher can achieve, and set high standards for quality and performance.
• How leadership and management improve teaching and learning, including the management of pupils’ behaviour.
• How leadership and management provide a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the needs of all pupils, enabling them to achieve their full educational potential and make progress in their learning, whilst promoting their good behaviour, safety and their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
• How leadership and management evaluate the school’s strengths and weaknesses and use their findings to promote improvement.
• How leadership and management engage with parents and carers in supporting pupils’ achievement, behaviour and safety and their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
• How leadership and management ensure that all pupils are safe.
Following the evaluation of the main areas listed above, a training package will be agreed and we will seek to work with school colleagues, drawing upon all our leadership services to improve any areas deemed as weaknesses and reinforce areas of strength.
