Sharing Services

At a time of difficult funding restraints, the advantages of sharing services to save money have never been greater.

College Leadership Services are working in partnership with Shared Service Architects in order to help you explore the route to sharing and to help you implement solutions that will not only save money but deliver improved business performance.

Some of the advantages of sharing services are:

Working collaboratively avoids duplication and saves money

Greater efficiencies through process review, benchmarking and re-engineering

Functions become more business focussed with greater emphasis on customer service

Greater scope to afford engaging expertise

Ability to retain and share specialist staff

Opportunity to share knowledge

A greater voice with regional stakeholders

Greater opportunity for procurement savings

We understand that the path to working collaboratively is not always an easy one, but we are already helping numerous colleges to save money through sharing with other colleges that are now seeking to join in as well.

We believe that our understanding and intricate knowledge of the sector has been a key factor in this success.
